For a few weeks Tobi was convinced React is slow, and there was a company wide decision to move from React to RoR for all new projects and migrate some existing projects to RoR. Then 2 weeks later he learned about server components, and they removed the internal articles bashing React and canceled the migration decision. They even have an emoji for when this happens, because it happens commonly that he drops in some slack channel and demands things to be immediately changed without allowing any conversation with the team members.
